Tackhead participates in Beatles project

Tackhead is one of the bands on the 'Music for Linda' cd ep that comes with a custom 7” box housing an 18-month calendar with unreleased Alan Aldridge Beatles images, to be released on April 29, 2014.

The issue is released to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the 45rpm record, the Beatles 50th anniversary (and British Invasion), and Alan Aldridge’s 45th anniversary of his 'Beatles Illustrated Lyrics Book'.

Various artists will be singing their own interpretations of Beatle classics on the ep, including 2009 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Little Anthony of the Imperials singing the Paul McCartney hit 'World Without Love'. Tackhead featuring Bernard Fowler do a version of 'I'm Looking Through You'.

'Rapper’s Delight' featuring Wonder Mike and Master Gee, original members of the Sugarhill Gang, have remade the Paul McCartney song 'Mrs. Vandebilt'; Living Colour cover 'Back In The U.S.S.R' and Caroline Pennell does 'Come and Get It'.

The 'Beatles Illustrated Collective Set' benefits The Women and Cancer Fund. To order you copy, please follow the link below.
